Become a listener
Listeners are kind people who make time to reply, notice when someone is struggling, and help keep the community safe.
What listeners do
- Reply to members having a hard time, with warmth and without judgement.
- Point people to urgent help when they need more than a peer can give.
- Report anything that breaks our community guidelines.
Who can volunteer
- You’re 18 or older and can give a few hours a week.
- You’ll complete our listener training and follow our safeguarding rules.
- You don’t need a qualification. Many of the best listeners have been through hard times themselves.
