Getting started
How do I join?
Tap Join now at the top of the home page. You can continue with Google, use your phone number, or join with your email address and a password. You must be 18 or older. Choose any nickname you like; you never have to use your real name.
How does joining with my phone number work?
Tap Continue with phone number, check the country code (+91 for India), and type your number. We’ll text you a 6-digit code. Type it in, then choose your nickname. Your number is never shown to other members.
Why can’t I use the nickname I wanted?
Nicknames can use 3 to 20 letters, numbers, dots or underscores. Symbols such as ™ and ®, and names that could be mistaken for LivesWispear staff or our founder, aren’t allowed.
Why did I get an email after joining?
If you joined with your email address, we send a link to confirm it’s yours. Open it to finish setting up your account. Check your junk folder if you can’t find it.
Signing in
I forgot my password
Tap Log in, type your email address, then tap Forgot your password?. If an account exists for that address, we’ll email you a link to set a new password.
“Continue with Apple” says it isn’t turned on
Signing in with Apple isn’t available yet. Use Google or your email address for now.
How do I delete my account?
Tap your picture in the top corner, then Delete my account at the bottom of the menu. If it asks you to log in again first, that’s a security check: log out, log back in, then try again.
How do I log out?
Tap your picture in the top corner to open your menu, then tap Log out.
Using LivesWispear
Can I put LivesWispear on my home screen?
Yes. Scroll to You don’t have to carry it alone on the home page and tap Pin to home screen. On iPhone, open the site in Safari, tap the Share button, then choose Add to Home Screen.
Does it cost anything?
No. Talking, replying, safety tools and urgent help are free for everyone. Optional supporter plans, from ₹100 to ₹500 a month, are opening soon and aren’t on sale yet.
What are the games for?
Take a small break has two quick games, Dots and Tic-tac-toe, plus three board games: Ludo, Chess and Word Weave. Play the board games against the computer, or online with real people once you’ve logged in. Only your nickname is shown to other players.
